Big West Festival is the leading community-based, contemporary arts festival in Melbourne’s West. A biennial festival, Big West stages high quality, cutting edge, multi-cultural and multi-artform events in the venues, cultural sites and suburban streets of the western suburbs, matching places and people in unexpected ways.

The next Big West Festival will take place from 20-28 November 2015!

Response to recently proposed cuts to the Australia Council

This decision removes grant funding from the Australia Council's arms-length funding process and will directly impact on the quantity and quality of work that Big West Festival will be able to produce. It will affect the sustainability of our organisation and other arts organisations we work with, and the livelihoods of artists in our community. Braybrook Community Centre Relaunched

Braybrook Community Centre has been transformed and is being relaunched from 25-31 March. Big West Festival is bringing along some of our fave artists, Born In A Taxi and Jo Mott, for the 28 March celebration. For all the details click here!
